Latest Express Entry Draw 30th January 2019

2019 could be even bigger than 2018 in terms of Immigration to Canada under Express Entry System

Another Express Entry draw 2019 just took place on January 30th and points dropped to its lowest 438. A total number of ITA’s issued this month raised to 11,150 making this the greatest begin to a year in the Express Entry framework’s five-year history.

The Express Entry System is managing Canada’s three Federal High Skilled Immigration categories –Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) and Canadian Experience Class. The Applicants who meets the eligibility criterion’s are gone into the Express Entry pool and are given a rank based on the factors such their Age, Qualification, Work Experience and English proficiency. And the highest ranking applicants are issued ITA’s on a first come first serve basis on regular intervals. Usually draws are held in every two weeks but in January 2019 this was the third draw that took place and a total number of 3350 ITA’s issued to the Express Entry candidates to apply Canadian Permanent Residence Visa.

IRCC connected its tie-breaker guideline in the January 30th draw. The timestamp utilized was April 26, 2018, at 05:00:46 UTC. Therefore, all applicants with a CRS score over 438 and the applicants with scores 438, who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before the chosen date and time, got an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in this Draw round.

As more frequent draws are happening more Invitations are expected in coming months to welcome more aspirants to become Canadian PR holder.
